OUR STORY

WOODWORKING - A FAMILY ACTIVITY

Woodworking and carpentry have long been a part of our family.  Lee (Dad) has had a life-long interest in wood working.  As a high school STEM student in Albany, New York, he made room in his academic schedule to take three years of advanced woodworking classes.  There he learned the woodworking skills – both with hand tools and power tools – that would support this hobby throughout his life.  Beth (Mom) grew up as the daughter of a carpenter and kitchen remodeler in Ithaca, New York.  Her father, Raymond, ran his own business and built both of the family homes that she grew up in.  His motto, “Measure twice, cut once” lives on and is frequently repeated during work on projects big and small.
